What is HTML and what does it have to do with my website?Technically HTML is short for Hypertext Markup Language and has been the standard language used to create websites. The website page you are now reading is built using HTML and so will the website we build for you. HTML is a great language to use as it is platform independent. That means when we build a website in HTML it will work on many operating systems and browsers such as Windows Internet Explorer, Firefox, Apple Safari, Google Chrome and can even be viewed by browser enabled mobile phones. We have taken the complexity out of writing HTML yourself and have an update console that will take your writing and documents you have written in Word, Excel etc and converts it into HTML.
Advanced users that know how to write HTML can write their on code and add it to their website. This gives extra flexibility to create your own custom features. If your not an advanced user you can have Havealook write HTML for a custom requirement. In summary HTML is what formats your website, sets colours, fonts, table and many other things , however you need not concern yourself as we do the hard work for you and leave you to concentrate on the content and not the technical jargon. | |
